Shaping vocational adult education and training (pdf)

Tavoitteet

Ammatillista aikuiskoulutusta toteutetaan Euroopassa eri tavoin.

Shape-hankkeessa aikuiskoulutusta tarkastellaan kuuden eri teeman kautta.

Shape-project in a nutshell

The ways and solutions to provide and organize adult education and training differ in European countries. Despite the differences in systems and practice, a lot of good practices can be shared, adapted and further developed. In the SHAPE-project, we will systematically scrutinize adult education provision and training from six thematic perspectives chosen as innovative and interesting to all partners. We will survey the best practices developed and used in partner organizations within these six themes, and take a step further by identifying possible next practices that partners can take home and put into practice.

The project consider of five 5-day thematic workshops. Each WS-leader prepares an in-depht, analytical presentation of the chosen theme. WS participants prepare a country description that cover an overview and main challenges of the national situation of the theme in question. These documents are presented in the workshops. They are also the basis for WS analysis and discussions.

As a result of the workshops every WS-leader prepares an analytical report of the workshop theme. Keuda as an coordinator will compile an e-output “Best and next practices in vocational adult education provision in five European countries”. It will be a synthesis of the five WS analytical papers introducing briefly each theme, including challenges as well as best and next practices in five European countries.
